Description

Product Information Embrace has a chunky shape with bubble-like curves. Wrapped with an exposed oak frame it brings mid-century style to your home. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. Simply unfold and lock This sofa bed has a 'clic-clac' mechanism, so-called because of the locking sound it makes when you convert it between bed and sofa. The model easily folds from one to the other; simply release the locks and fold or unfold. Once in place, the 'clic-clac' sound reassures you that everything is locked into place. It's the little things We care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa bed for its clean, understated design and practical functionality. The light leg and town grey upholstery give it a versatile look that works well in contemporary, Scandi-inspired, or minimalist interiors, adding a calm neutral touch. It’s ideal for small living rooms or guest spaces, providing a stylish spot to lounge by day and a comfortable bed by night. For styling tips, consider adding textured cushions and throws in muted tones for a cosy feel, or pairing with a statement rug to define the space. Keep surrounding décor simple to let the sleek silhouette of the sofa bed stand out, ensuring it feels both practical and effortlessly chic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
