Description

Combining style and functionality, the angular outline of the Elstra wardrobe is paired with a choice of finishes and contrasting mirrored doors. Its contemporary appearance brings any bedroom up to date, while soft-close sliding doors ensure versatile and discreet use even in the smallest of bedrooms. The interior is divided into equally sized compartments. All compartments contain two matching shelves and a hanging rail, all fully adjustable for convenience. Extra internal and external accessories are available to purchase separately: Treeline - Set of 3 shelves Hanging rail Treeline - Set of 2 internal drawers with glass front Set of 3 LED external lights Want to see it first? Our Stylist Says

I often specify the Elstra sliding wardrobe for its clean lines and pebble-grey glass panels, which give a neutral yet tactile finish. The central mirror reflects light, making it ideal for smaller bedrooms or schemes that rely on a soft, muted palette. Sliding doors keep sight-lines uninterrupted and save floor space, so it suits both contemporary city flats and calm, Scandi-inspired homes. Inside, add uniform storage boxes or woven baskets on the top shelf and slim LED strip lights along the frame to highlight neatly hung clothing. Keep accessory rails or drawers colour-coded to maintain that streamlined look. Outside, pair with a low-profile bed in pale wood or white upholstery and a single sculptural plant for a balanced, clutter-free feel.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
