This soft hand-crafted design has been the cornerstone of our collection for a number of years as it has a timeless appeal. Soft:Offering a supportive but forgiving sit, this range has a soft comfort rating. Designed to offer a degree of flexibility but still give a soft and comfortable experience, this range is perfect for those looking for that sink in feeling with an added degree of support. As leather is a natural product, there are natural characteristics on each leather hide used to make our sofas. These could be things like brand marks, insect bites or wrinkles. A large sofa could be made with as many as four hides so there may also be some slight colour variation, however we have strict guidelines to make sure any noticeable marks aren't in a prominent place. These distinctive qualities also mean that no two pieces of leather furniture will be exactly the same. Leather Working Group (LWG) Certified LeatherOwing to variations in computer screen resolution and settings, the fabric you receive may look slightly different to how it appears here. Our Stylist Says

I love this John Lewis Draper II RHF Chaise in leather for its versatile and timeless appeal. Its light legs give it a fresh, modern feel that’s particularly effective in contemporary or Scandinavian interiors, helping to keep the space feeling airy. This corner sofa works well in larger living rooms where you want to create a cosy, inviting zone without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimal, textured cushions to add comfort and visual interest, or contrasting it with a colourful or patterned rug to ground the look. Additionally, the leather finish makes it easy to maintain, perfect for busy households or those who prefer a sleek, low-maintenance piece.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
