Description

Product Information The Cromwell range has a classic Chesterfield style, with rolled arms and deep, hand pleated buttoned back. Design details Generous scroll arms Sprung seat with sumptuous fibre filling Hardwood legs Designer's notesCromwell is an authentic interpretation of the classic and timeless Chesterfield design, showcasing hand craftsmanship and traditional upholstery. Foam free cushionsThis product has a fibre seat interior sourced from the highest quality recycled content. You will notice that within the first couple of days of use in your home, the seats of your furniture will ‘flatten down’. This is quite normal and after a short time your furniture will have that luxurious ‘lived-in’ appearance. We recommend that the seat cushions are ‘plumped up’ daily. Medium: Striking a balance between support and comfort, this range has a medium comfort rating. With a structured designed to help retain shape, these sofa cushions retain more of their shape when sat on, and require less plumping. As leather is a natural product, there are natural characteristics on each leather hide used to make our sofas. These could be things like brand marks, insect bites or wrinkles. A large sofa could be made with as many as four hides so there may also be some slight colour variation, however we have strict guidelines to make sure any noticeable marks aren't in a prominent place. These distinctive qualities also mean that no two pieces of leather furniture will be exactly the same. It's the little things We care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. That's why every detail is carefully considered, with more than 20 quality checks, to ensure you're as proud of it as we are. Try before you buy We're confident in our furniture's quality, but it's always a good idea to check that it's a good personal fit for you. Our Stylist Says

The John Lewis Cromwell Leather Snuggler is a stylish yet practical choice for a cosy seating option. I love its classic Chesterfield-inspired design, which adds timeless elegance to both traditional and modern interiors. The light leather leg detail keeps it looking fresh and versatile, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of colour palettes, from neutral tones to richer hues. For styling, consider pairing it with soft throws and cushions to soften the leather, or position it against textured wallpapers or wood accents for warmth. Its compact size makes it perfect for smaller living spaces or as an additional seating spot, and the leather ensures durability alongside easy maintenance-ideal for spaces that are lived-in and stylish.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
