Our roller blind showcases a classic stripe. It has a blackout coating to block out the light, helping you sleep for longer. Worth knowing... The width stated in our product specifications is the total width of the blind including mechanisms and brackets. The width of the fabric alone will be a few centimetres less than this. Safety warning Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes and inner cords that operate the product. To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children - cords may become wrapped around a child's neck Move beds, cots and furniture away from window covering cords Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop More information on child safety can be found on our Child Safety Hub

Our Stylist Says

I love the John Lewis Conwy blackout roller blind in lake blue for its sleek, modern look and practical functionality. The deep blue hue adds a calm, sophisticated touch to any room, making it versatile for both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in bedrooms and media rooms where light control and privacy are essential. For styling tips, pair it with crisp white or neutral walls to make the colour pop, or mix it with softer shades like blush or grey for a more subdued palette. To enhance its contemporary feel, consider keeping accessories minimal and pairing with textured textiles or metallic accents for a chic, put-together look.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
