Description

This beautiful bed linen is manufactured in a way that creates a lived-in relaxed look and soft feel that requires no ironing. Linen’s long fibres are strong and durable, creating naturally breathable fabric to help keep you cool and comfy while you sleep. The texture and finish also age well, becoming softer over time. This product is labelled EUROPEAN FLAX™. The guarantee of traceability for premium quality Flax fibres grown in Western Europe for all end uses. A plant fibre, produced through integrated crop management farming, without irrigation (barring exceptional circumstances) or GMOs. Good to know: These are product dyed meaning that there can be additional lint remaining on the product. This is part of the linen lifecycle and means your bedding will soften over time making your sleep as comfy and relaxed as possible. We recommend washing at 40° to remove this. Please note that duvet covers and pillowcases are available to buy separately and not in sets. Our Stylist Says

I love this bed linen for its relaxed, understated charm and breathable washed linen fabric, which adds a naturally textured and lived-in feel. It’s ideal for creating a calming, neutral bedroom aesthetic and works beautifully in both modern minimal and rustic schemes. To style it effectively, consider layering with soft, complementary bedding in muted tones or natural fibres, and add cosy throws or cushions for extra texture. It’s practical too-its easy-care nature makes it a stylish yet low-maintenance choice for everyday living, perfect for achieving a cosy, inviting space with minimal effort.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
