Description

Product Information We looked to Scandi styling when we designed Bow and sought to incorporate the minimalist principles and exposed wooden elements that characterise that decor. It's all about balancing functionality and beauty, and the result is this modern clic-clac sofa bed with exposed wooden slat arms, clean lines and bolster cushions. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. Simply unfold and lock This sofa bed has a 'clic-clac' mechanism, so-called because of the locking sound it makes when you convert it between bed and sofa. The model easily folds from one to the other; simply release the locks and fold or unfold. Once in place, the 'clic-clac' sound reassures you that everything is locked into place. It's the little things We care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. That's why every detail is carefully considered, with more than 20 quality checks, to ensure you're as proud of it as we are. Try before you buy We're confident in our furniture's quality, but it's always a good idea to check that it's a good personal fit for you.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa bed because it offers a versatile mix of style and practicality. The light wood frame adds a natural, minimalist touch that works effortlessly in Scandi or contemporary interiors, while the town grey fabric is neutral enough to blend into both sleek apartments and cosy, layered living rooms. It's a great choice for smaller spaces or multi-functional rooms where you want an extra bed but without compromising on style. For styling tips, pair it with textured throws and cushions in muted tones or subtle patterns to keep things cosy and inviting. Adding a few statement accessories like a bold rug or wall art can also help personalise the space when the sofa bed is in seating mode.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
