A classic mattress type for a peaceful night's sleep The mattress in this sofa bed uses traditional Bonnell Springs making it only slightly less deep than a standard double bed mattress. Open coils and generous layers of polyester fibre fillings provide soft cushioning and comfort. Suitable for occasional use. Sits like a sofa, sleeps like a bed When assembled as a sofa the seats are supported by flexible webbing, the same as traditional sofas. Using a 2-fold mechanism it opens into the bed, which is supported by beech slats much like many beds. This combination of webbing and slats means it's not a case of either a comfortable sofa or a comfortable bed. You get both.
