Description

Made using a strong and durable fabric, this rug features a geometric take on traditional rug design and is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors making it a great choice for conservatories or decking. Made using recycled materials, helping us to reduce our impact on the planet, this rug is made from 210 plastic bottles. This rug can be used both indoors and outdoors, when using outdoors please avoid leaving the rug outside during long periods of time in poor weather allowing the rug to become saturated with water as this will cause the rug to deteriorate. When the rug is not in use please ensure the rug is clean and fully dry and store rolled up carefully in a warm and dry location. With a flat finish making this rug ideal for busy, high-traffic rooms, the materials in this rug have been woven together by hand to create a strong construction. About your new rug We recommend John Lewis & Partners Rug Hold Underlay. It prevents your rug from moving underfoot and protects against colour transfer to the floor Minimal pile shedding may occur. This will reduce over time, and shouldn't affect your rug's lifespan or performance Vacuum occasionally. When vacuuming your rug, use suction only. Rotating brushes may damage your rug Blot any spills with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub. Spot clean using a mild soap solution Textile backed Specalist cleaning recommended

Our Stylist Says

I love this runner for its versatile design and colour palette, making it a great addition to both modern and eclectic interiors. The blue and grey tones work exceptionally well in neutral or monochrome schemes, bringing a subtle pop of pattern without overwhelming the space. It’s ideal for hallways, kitchens, or outdoor patios where durability and style are equally important. For styling tips, consider layering it over plain flooring to add visual interest or pairing it with minimalist furniture for a fresh, contemporary look. Additionally, its indoor-outdoor functionality makes it easy to incorporate into transitional spaces or outdoor dining areas, giving your space a stylish yet practical upgrade.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
