Description

Mid-century modern styling is mixed with retro shapes in the Bauhaus 3-arm floor lamp by All. Modern. This lamp serves not only as a functional, task floor light but also as a statement piece of decor featuring multi-colour shades. Each arm is adjustable, allowing you to direct the light wherever it's needed. An antique brass and black finish and cast-iron tripod base add to the contemporary design. A brass rotary switch located on the top of each shade turns each 10W LED bulb (not included) on and off. This lamp has a clear cord and is smart outlet compatible.

Our Stylist Says

I love this mid-century inspired floor lamp for its versatile and functional design. Its adjustable arms make it ideal for task lighting or creating a cosy ambiance, and the bold colour contrast adds a playful touch to both modern and eclectic interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms, home offices, or bedrooms where you might want to direct light precisely. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist furniture to let the lamp be a statement piece, or mixing it with other vintage or retro accessories for a curated look. Its flexibility in positioning also makes it a practical choice for spaces that need layered or focused lighting.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
