Description

Mixing comfort and practicality, Tilly has all the functions of an office chair with a cream upholstered finish and button back to fit right in anywhere you choose to work, whether in the corner of your living room or an entirely separate space. Both swivelling and height adjustable, to minimise stresses and strains on your body, the scoop back makes it comfortable and supportive enough for a full day of work. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display. With great prices and great design, our new brand offers style and quality for modern living today. Whatever you need, there's joy to be found in ANYDAY.

Our Stylist Says

I love this office chair for its clean, contemporary look and understated appeal. The Tilly Button Back combines practicality with a touch of softness thanks to its natural fabric, making it versatile enough for both modern workspaces and more relaxed, home office styles. It works particularly well in neutral or Scandinavian-inspired interiors, where its subtle design complements minimalist aesthetics. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with a practical desk in natural woods or muted tones, and add textured accessories like a cosy throw or a small green plant for a touch of personality. This chair is a smart choice for those seeking comfort without compromising on style.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
