Description

Scroll's curved armrests and dark, turned wooden legs combine modernity and elegance, with no compromise on comfort. When it comes to seat and cushion fillings, there are plenty of choices out there. For Scroll we've mixed and to get the best balance of comfort, support and durability we possible could. Firstly, a combination of foam and fibre fillings as well as flexible webbing gives Scroll a medium sit, so whilst it's not the most squishy 'sinking in between the seats' type of furniture, it's certainly not super firm. If Goldilocks sat on it, she'd probably say it was 'just right'. And the seat cushions also have individual pocket springs that help maintain the cushions' shape by moulding around you when you sit, lounge or flollop, but then recover to their original position when you get up. No plumping required. It's the little thingsWe care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. That's why every detail is carefully considered, with more than 20 quality checks, to ensure you're as proud of it as we are. With great prices and great design, our new brand offers style and quality for modern living today. Whatever you need, there’s joy to be found in ANYDAY. Try before you buyWe're confident in our furniture's quality, but it's always a good idea to check that it's a good personal fit for you.

Our Stylist Says

I love the John Lewis ANYDAY scroll large 3 seater sofa for its versatile and timeless design, which suits both modern and traditional interiors. Its light leg adds a subtle touch of elegance and helps keep the space feeling open and airy. This sofa works particularly well in relaxed family settings, especially if you need a piece that can double as a guest bed, making it as practical as it is stylish. For styling tips, consider adding cosy throws and patterned cushions to introduce texture and colour, or pair it with a soft area rug for a warm, inviting feel. Its neutral tone provides a great backdrop for experimenting with different colour schemes and accessories, making it a flexible choice for ongoing interior updates.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
