We've upgraded this classic floor lamp with an innovative, touch-controlled smart switch that's located on the pole and allows you to adjust the light intensity of the integrated LED, so you can choose from a full range of brightness options. By adjusting the lamp's colour temperature throughout the day, you can stimulate the natural progression of the sun, helping to regulate the body's internal clock which can improve sleep habits. Bright light is great at the start of the day, but a warmer, more ambient glow of light is best for winding down at night. The shade is designed with frosted glass that perfectly complements the brushed metal finish of the frame.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
