Description

This TENCEL™ Lyocell with cotton sheeting uses sustainably sourced TENCEL™ fibres, known to absorb moisture more efficiently to help your body feel pleasantly cool and dry, keeping you comfortable. Cotton, the world's most widely used natural fibre, makes the perfect bed linen; cool, lightweight, soft and breathable. Fibres used in this product are extracted from sustainable wood pulp and are produced through an environmentally responsible, closed-loop fibre process. Sheeting sizes To fit mattress size (cm) Single, L190 x W90cm Double, L190 x W135cm King, L200 x W150cm Super king, L200 x W180cm We recommend washing this bed linen at 40°C but it can be washed at 30°C. Lower temperatures save energy, helping to be kinder to the environment.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sheet for its versatile, crisp clean look and the blend of TENCEL™ and cotton, which offers a lovely balance of softness and durability. Its understated white works beautifully in minimalist, Scandi, or contemporary interiors, complementing both statement beds and softer colour palettes. For styling tips, consider layering with textured blankets or patterned cushions to add visual interest, or keep it simple for a sleek, hotel-inspired vibe. The natural fibres also mean it's breathable and easy to care for, making it a practical, stylish choice for everyday use.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
