A framed reproduction print of 'Endless Rhythm', 1934, by Robert Delaunay, from the Tate collection. Made in the UK exclusively for John Lewis. The black frame is made of FSC-certified solid ayous wood, sourced from sustainably managed forests. Framed with a card mount and glass front, it arrives ready to hang on your wall. Robert Delaunay (1885-1941) was a French artist whose early influences included Neo-impressionism and Cezanne. He painted his first abstract works, 'Disc' and 'Circular Forms' in 1912 and had his first solo exhibition in Paris the same year. After a period of painting figurative themes in the 1920s, he returned to complete abstraction. He believed that "colour is a thing in itself with its own powers of expression and form." Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
This print is a great choice for adding a pop of colour and modernity to a variety of interiors. I love how the bold, geometric design can serve as a focal point in minimalist or contemporary spaces, and it pairs especially well with neutral palettes to create visual interest. It works well in living rooms, home offices, or hallways where you want to introduce a sense of energy without overwhelming the space. For styling, consider pairing it with simple, sleek furniture and a few accessories in similar hues to reinforce the colour scheme. Hanging it slightly above eye level or grouping it with other artwork can also help it become a striking feature of your decor.
