Description

Designed with studs around the edge of its large headboard, our Studded bed frame oozes vintage glamour. The shape is classic but the upholstered finish gives it a modern edge, making it easy to tie into different interior styles. It sits on low, twisted wooden legs and its sprung slats provide a supportive base for you and your mattress. Smart Slats This bed frame is designed with wider slats at the shoulders, lumbar and feet, that provide maximum support for you and your mattress so that you experience perfect spinal alignment while you sleep. Standard slat caps are black so we have added grey slat caps to ensure that you know where to place the wider slats. Choose from one of our fabrics: Our Band A fabric, Topaz is woven to create a linen-effect feel Our Band A fabric, Saga is woven with man-made fibres, making it exceptionally durable and versatile Our Band B fabric, Erin has a velvet-style, chenille feel. It's woven with man-made fibres to create a beautifully soft yarn and can appear two-tone in different lights Our Band B fabric, Opulence is soft and luxurious like velvet Our Band B fabric, Mole is a soft and cosy woven wool-blend. Piling and bobbling may occur naturally over time Our Band C fabric, Aquaclean Harriet is made from a short, dense pile of velvet that has a soft, brushed finish. An Aquaclean treatment has been applied to this resilient fabric which means you can banish the majority of household stains with water. The treatment covers every fibre with an invisible coating so it doesn't need to be retreated or re-coated. It will naturally develop lines, scuffs and shading over time. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture before ordering. Pop into one of our shops to see the full range of colours and fabrics on offer. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bed frame for its classic yet contemporary aesthetic, with the studded upholstery adding just the right amount of texture and subtle detailing. It works well in both traditional and modern interiors, especially those with soft colour palettes or muted tones. To style it effectively, consider layering with cosy, neutral bedding and textured cushions to create a welcoming, restful look. Pairing it with bedside tables in similar wood tones or contrasting materials like metal can help ground the space. Because of its upholstered finish, it’s also versatile enough to work in bedrooms that aim for a boutique hotel vibe or understated luxury. Practical tips include keeping bedding simple to highlight the studded detail and ensuring your room’s other elements-like lighting and rugs-complement its elegant yet understated charm.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
