Description

This elegant TV stand is part of John Lewis & Partners' Scandi collection. Exuding the Scandinavian design tenets of clean shapes, simple looks, functionality and value, the Scandi II TV Stand is a slick addition to any room and a practical base for all your home entertainment equipment. The exterior features a high-quality oak effect and polished stainless steel handles and legs. Two sets of doors are included for your choice, in stylish steel and oyster effect, with appealing dampened drop-down operation. A further choice of door colour options are available (sold separately). You can even get multiple doors then mix and match the colours to your taste, giving you further creative license over your living room. Holding TVs of up to 60" and having storage space for multiple AV units, the Scandi II features four internal compartments, convertible to two large storage areas by removing the shelves. Intelligent engineering elements like the remote/infrared friendly glass doors and cable management holes will help you achieve the minimal Scandi look. Supporting a maximum TV weight of 50kg it's a supremely stylish way to display your TV, as well as housing all your entertainment tech, media such as DVDs and Blu-rays, and accessories. Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I love the John Lewis & Partners Scandi II TV stand for its sleek, minimalist design that easily complements modern and contemporary interiors. Its oak top adds warmth, while the steel doors lend a subtle industrial charm, making it versatile enough to work in both Scandinavian-inspired schemes and more eclectic spaces. Practical tip: use the steel doors to hide less attractive electronics or clutter, keeping surfaces tidy. Pair it with soft textiles and statement lighting for a balanced look or try layered textures to add depth. It works particularly well in open-plan living areas or neutral palettes, serving as a stylish yet practical focal point for media and storage needs.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
