Description

Product Information The stylish Sansa sofabed offers functionality and flexibility. The two sections detach, allowing you to move the chaise section (with its hidden storage) from one side to the other, and the double section pulls out and converts into a large bed. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

The John Lewis & Partners Sansa sofa bed in Saga Grey is a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and classic interiors. Its neutral grey tone makes it a flexible choice for a range of colour schemes, from minimalist to more layered, textured spaces. I love its splayed arm design, which adds a subtle touch of modernity without feeling overly structural. The built-in storage and sofa bed functionality make it highly practical for smaller spaces or guest rooms. When styling around it, consider pairing with textured cushions and throws in muted or soft colours to keep the look inviting without overpowering the sleek silhouette. It’s especially good in open-plan living areas, where its shape can delineate zones, and its neutral palette allows for easy accessorising with colourful or patterned accents.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
