Description
The attractive curved design of our Rye range is made using synthetic wicker, which has the look and feel of traditional rattan garden furniture but with long-lasting quality. Easy to maintain, the furniture is made with a sturdy aluminium frame that's able to withstand a weight of 40 stone (254kg), exceeding the industry standard. The resin wicker is applied by hand with a 5mm round weave technique in a natural willow-effect. The intricate handwoven design takes several days to produce and the finished results are strongly suited to outdoor spaces and conservatories. Designed for comfort, Rye seating comes with sumptuous shower-resistant cushioning. Good to know: The range is durable and for outdoor use all year round. As a precaution, we recommend you cover the furniture during adverse weather. The yarn is made up of 10,000 (approx) woven strands with a double core for extreme strength, does not attract mould even if wet for a long time and is UV resistant.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
