Description
The design of our Rouen bed frame is timeless and sophisticated. We've added button detailing to the headboard and supported the frame with low, twisted legs made from high quality wood. There are also supportive sprung slats in the base. Built with Smart Slats This bed frame is designed with wider slats at the shoulders, lumbar and feet. They provide maximum support for you and your mattress so that you experience perfect spinal alignment while you sleep. The standard slat caps are black so we have added grey slat caps to ensure that you know where to place the wider slats. Worth Knowing: Child Compliant bed frames This bed conforms to BS 8509:2008+A1:2011 (Childrens beds for domestic use. Safety requirements and test methods). We recommend it is used with a standard single mattress, L190 x W90cm. Not suitable for children under the age of 4 years. Choose from one of our fabrics: Our Band A fabric, Topaz is woven to create a linen-effect feel Our Band A fabric, Saga is woven with man-made fibres, making it exceptionally durable and versatile Our Band B fabric, Erin has a velvet-style, chenille feel. It's woven with man-made fibres to create a beautifully soft yarn and can appear two-tone in different lights Our Band B fabric, Opulence is a soft and luxurious velvet-like fabric Our Band B fabric, Mole is a soft and cosy woven wool-blend. Piling and bobbling may occur naturally over time Our Band B fabric, Relaxed Linen is durable, resilient and versatile, woven from man-made and natural fibres Our Band C fabric, Aquaclean Harriet is made from a short, dense pile of velvet that has a soft, brushed finish. An Aquaclean treatment has been applied to this resilient fabric which means you can banish the majority of household stains with water. The treatment covers every fibre with an invisible coating so it doesn't need to be retreated or re-coated. It will naturally develop lines, scuffs and shading over time. Want to see it first? John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.
Commitment to a Greater Purpose
John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
