Description

Minimalist style with a little twist: our round Ronda mirror has a slim metal frame and is suspended by a leather strap. Perfect for a quick glance before you leave the house, it's ideal for hanging up in a hallway or lobby and suits both traditional and contemporary décor. Each mirror's frame is bent by hand and matched to perfection by highly skilled artisans who have been moulding metal with their hands for years. Their experience and knowledge are reflected in the quality of the frames and the finish. The frames are polished and buffed repeatedly at different stages to ensure the best possible quality. The mirror glass is hand-cut by experienced specialists to complete the handmade mirror.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the John Lewis & Partners Ronda round hanging mirror because of its clean, minimalist design that works well in a range of interiors, from Scandi-inspired schemes to contemporary spaces. Its 50cm size is versatile - large enough to make a statement without overwhelming a room. It’s ideal in entryways, bedrooms, or even bathrooms, especially when hung with a bit of space around it to create visual interest. Practical styling tips include pairing it with subtle lighting or leaning it against a wall for a more casual look, and using it to reflect natural light to brighten up darker areas. The simple wire hanger keeps the look pared-back, allowing the mirror to complement rather than compete with other decorative elements.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
