Description

Product Information The Oliver range comes in a wide choice of modular pieces and complete sofa options so you can choose the perfect sofa for your space. Treated to prevent stains An Aquaclean treatment has been applied to the fabric on this sofa which means you can banish the majority of household stains just with water. The treatment covers every fibre with an invisible coating that doesn't need to be re-treated or re-coated, making this sofa a good choice for busy households where you might be worried about potential stains. It also has additional Safe Front® protection which is an extra shield that eliminates mites, fungi and bacteria. Please note: The armless pieces within this modular range should not be bought separately as these units feature pre-fitted clips that are designed to be attached to another modular piece. It's the little things At John Lewis & Partners we care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. That's why every detail is carefully considered, with more than 20 quality checks, to ensure you're as proud of it as we are. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the John Lewis & Partners Oliver corner sofa because of its contemporary design and versatile light colourway, which can work well in both modern and classic interiors. The Aquaclean Matilda Steel fabric is a practical choice, offering easy maintenance-ideal for families or busy households-without compromising style. Its spacious L-shape provides ample seating and can be styled with relaxed throws or cushions for a cosy, inviting look. To optimise its appeal, consider pairing it with neutral or muted accessories to keep the space feeling fresh and airy, or add a splash of colour with vibrant cushions or a statement rug for a more eclectic vibe. Its practical yet stylish design makes it a reliable focal point in a variety of living room settings.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
