Description

In a variety of earth tones and neutral colours, these Venetian blinds are made according to your requirements to make sure they're perfect for your space. They're made from HSPVC but have the look of wood, so they have the warmth and richness of a natural material, but the moisture-resistant quality of PVC. Venetian blinds give you complete control over the privacy and amount of light you let into your room at any time, by tilting the slats and raising or lowering the blind itself. This makes them particularly good for rooms you spend a lot of time in throughout the day, such as a home office, as you can adjust the blinds to prevent glare whilst maximising light as the sun moves during the day. Key features: Moisture resistant, so suitable for kitchens and bathrooms Can be made with a string laddercord or herringbone or flat-weave tape Tassel colour can be colour-matched to the slats, or you can choose from chrome, matt nickel, brushed brass and black Also available with a fine grain finish to add texture to the slats Includes safety devices to keep children safe Size restrictions: Minimum size: W40 x Drop 40cm Maximum size: W240 x Drop 300cm The price shown is for a blind measuring W60 x Drop 160cm. Our Stylist Says

I love these faux wood venetian blinds for their clean, timeless look that suits a variety of interior styles-from modern minimalism to traditional cosy settings. They work especially well in kitchens and bathrooms, where moisture resistance is essential, but they also lend a warm, natural feel in living rooms and bedrooms. Practical styling tips include pairing them with light, neutral curtains for a layered look, or using their adjustable slats to control light and privacy with ease. In terms of interior colour schemes, they complement both cool greys and warmer tones, making them quite versatile for updating or restoring existing interiors.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
