Description

Organic cotton: The world's most widely used natural fibre, versatile cotton makes the perfect bed linen; cool, lightweight, soft and breathable, this sheeting is made from 300 thread count organic cotton with a sateen weave to create a soft and silky feel. It's also GOTS certified. This assures that this sheeting has been responsibly produced to strict environmental and social standards. Natural dyes: The dyes used in this sheeting are all-natural and come from sustainable and traceable sources. The colours in this range have been developed using natural waste products from agriculture and herbal industries including beetroot, palmetto and almond shells. Important to know: Natural-based dyes bring beautiful variations in hue, giving each piece in this range its own unique characteristics. Due to the natural plant dyes used, colours may begin to soften over time and fade when exposed to sunlight for a long period. The feel of the cotton will also soften with careful washing. Reassuringly well made: At John Lewis & Partners we test every piece of our bed linen to high-quality standards of durability, shape and size retention. So you can always rest easy, knowing you've made the right choice. Sheeting sizes To fit mattress size (cm) Single, L190 x W90cm Double, L190 x W135cm King, L200 x W150cm Super king, L200 x W180cm

Our Stylist Says

I love this sheet for its clean, natural look and exceptional quality-perfect for creating a calm, restful bedroom. The organic cotton and 300 thread count make it soft and breathable, ideal for comfort all year round. It's versatile enough to blend seamlessly into various interiors, from minimalist and Scandi-inspired spaces to more classic bedroom aesthetics. Practical styling tips include pairing it with cosy, textured bedding layers or in neutral tones to keep the overall look fresh and understated. This sheet works particularly well when the bed becomes the focal point of your room, enhancing a sense of indulgence without feeling overly formal.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
