Description

Our Harvard range of furniture combines Art-Deco style with modern shapes to inject character into your space. This spacious sideboard is made from sturdy MDF in a painted finish and both cupboard sections feature internal shelving. We love the fluid pattern inset on the door fronts, as well as the sleek tapered legs, which both add to its playful and contemporary look. Plus a cable management hole at the back makes this sideboard adaptable for use as a TV stand, and it will help to keep long cables tidy and organised. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

This sideboard is a versatile piece that works particularly well in contemporary and minimalist interiors thanks to its clean lines and soft grey colour. I love its light, neutral tone which effortlessly complements both muted palettes and more vibrant schemes. It's ideal for creating a calming backdrop in living rooms or open-plan spaces. For styling, I recommend pairing it with a mix of textured accessories like ceramics, plants, or books to add visual interest. Its practical storage makes it perfect for keeping media accessories or everyday essentials tidy, while the slender legs give it a light, airy feel that won’t overwhelm smaller spaces. Overall, a smart choice for those wanting a stylish yet functional storage solution.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
