Description

Our Grace bed frame is designed with button detailing on its curved headboard, which gives it a smart, yet understated look. It's supported by sturdy wooden legs and there are supportive, sprung slats in the base. We've upholstered it in our soft Topaz fabric which is woven to create a linen-effect look. Built with Smart Slats This bed frame is designed with wider slats at the shoulders, lumbar and feet. They provide maximum support for you and your mattress so that you experience perfect spinal alignment while you sleep. The standard slat caps are black so we have added grey slat caps to ensure that you know where to place the wider slats. Worth Knowing: Child Compliant bed frames This bed conforms to BS 8509:2008+A1:2011 (Childrens beds for domestic use. Safety requirements and test methods). We recommend it is used with a standard single mattress, L190 x W90cm. Not suitable for children under the age of 4 years. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture before ordering. Pop into one of our shops to see the full range of colours and fabrics on offer. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

The John Lewis & Partners Grace bed frame is a versatile choice for a variety of interior styles, thanks to its clean lines and soft topaz grey tone. I love how the upholstered finish adds a subtle touch of comfort and sophistication, making it suitable for both modern and traditional bedrooms. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral or pastel bedding for a calming vibe, or add colourful cushions and throws to introduce personality. It works well in minimal spaces with light or timber furniture, but also pairs nicely with layered textures like plush rugs or throw blankets for a cosy atmosphere. Practical tip: its understated design makes it an excellent foundation for layering different decorative accents without overpowering the room.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
