Description

Traditional rattan garden furniture gets an update with our Chevron range. Contemporary chevron-patterned stripes are hand-woven with a synthetic weave on powder-coated metal frames. This makes the range both durable and weather-resistant so you can even leave it outside throughout the year. Make sure you bring in the cushions, which are resistant to light rain showers only. This statement pod is ideal for creating a nook in a garden or conservatory. It has a sturdy frame and legs that are able to withstand a weight of 17 stone (110kg). The robust design allows the rattan to form its distinctive shape, with the weave ensuring comfortable support. The cushions can be unzipped and are washable, with care. Team up this pod with other Chevron garden furniture to create a matching set. Key features: Hand-woven synthetic rattan design Lightweight and durable aluminium frame Shower-resistant and washable cushioning Comes with a seat cushion and a backrest cushion Matches garden furniture in our Chevron range Want to see it first? Our Stylist Says

I love this garden chair pod for its modern, structured design that offers a chic yet cosy spot outdoors. Its black and grey colour palette makes it versatile enough to complement various garden and patio styles, from contemporary to minimalist schemes. It works particularly well in relaxed, stylish outdoor spaces or in areas that blend indoor comfort with outdoor living. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral-toned cushions and a small side table for drinks or accessories to create a welcoming retreat. Its semi-enclosed design also provides a bit of shelter and privacy, making it a practical addition to sun traps or shaded garden corners.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
