Description

With a gently curved headboard and practical storage base, our Charlotte ottoman bed frame is ideal for smaller bedrooms. A handle and hydraulic arms facilitate an easy manual lift-up and there's plenty of storage space for spare linens or extra clothes. There are also supportive sprung slats in the base. Smart Slats This bed frame is designed with wider slats at the shoulders, lumbar and feet, that provide maximum support for your mattress so that you experience perfect spinal alignment while you sleep. Standard slat caps are black so we have added grey slat caps to ensure that you know where to place the wider slats. Our Band A fabric, Saga is woven with man-made fibres, making it exceptionally durable and versatile. Our Our Band A fabric, Topaz is woven to offer a linen-effect feel, and is available in a versatile palette of colours. Our Band B fabric, Erin is woven with man-made fibres to create a beautifully soft yarn. This tactile, velvet-style chenille fabric exhibits a two-tone look in different lights. Our Band B fabric, Opulence offers a luxurious, soft-touch. This velvet-feel fabric is available in a rich colour palette. Our Band B fabric, Mole is a woven wool-blend that's soft and cosy. Piling and bobbling may occur naturally over time. Our Stylist Says

This bed frame is a smart choice for anyone looking to maximise bedroom space, thanks to its built-in storage. The button-tufted upholstered finish adds a touch of softness, making it suitable for both contemporary and traditional interiors. I love how versatile it is-you can style it in a luxe master suite with rich textures and layered bedding, or keep it minimal with neutral tones for a serene look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with crisp, lightweight linen bedding for a fresh feel or adding a textured throw and cushions to introduce tactile interest. It works particularly well in bedrooms with limited storage, but its elegant design makes it equally suitable in more spacious, stylish schemes.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
