Description

Contemporary and versatile, the Camden range can be configured to fit any home. Padded arms add to the comfy feel and create a soft, inviting look. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape . This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. Sits like a sofa, sleeps like a bed . This sofa bed has a 2-fold folding mechanism. When assembled as a sofa the seats are supported by flexible webbing which is the same as traditional sofas. Unfold once and it opens into the bed, which is supported by beech slats much like many beds. This combination of webbing and slats means it's not a case of either a comfortable sofa or a comfortable bed. You get both.

Our Stylist Says

This sofa in the John Lewis & Partners range is a versatile piece that balances comfort with practicality, making it ideal for both laid-back living rooms and multifunctional spaces. I love how its neutral grey upholstery offers flexibility for various colour schemes and decors-from minimalist and Scandi to more eclectic styles. Its chaise end provides a cosy spot for lounging or hosting friends, while the storage function adds smart, hidden organisation for bedding or cushions. For styling, pair it with simple, clean-lined accessories and layered textures-think soft throws, patterned cushions, or a statement rug-to create a welcoming and effortlessly chic space. Its adaptable design makes it a reliable centrepiece that suits many interior themes, especially when you want comfort without compromising on style.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
