Description

With a clean, modern aesthetic our Bow bedroom furniture range is made from predominantly solid oak and oak veneers for a durable and visually striking finish. You'll enjoy the beautiful natural grain of the wood, as well as enduring style and an elegant profile that will stand the test of time. Conveniently compact, yet providing ample space for your clothing, our Bow low wardrobe is designed to maximise storage options. Its single hinged door opens to reveal a metal hanging rail, while five additional drawers ensure your clothing and accessories can be kept perfectly in order. Clean lined and perfect for modern settings, it lends versatile design to practical appeal. Please note: not all our ranges are on display in our shops.

Our Stylist Says

I love the John Lewis & Partners Bow low wardrobe, especially its warm oak finish which adds a natural, inviting touch to any room. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired interiors, thanks to its clean lines and minimalist design, but it also complements contemporary and even traditional schemes when paired with the right accessories. Practical styling tip: use the drawers for smaller essentials like accessories or linens, and keep the top surface uncluttered with a simple vase or a few books to maintain a sleek look. Its compact size makes it versatile for bedrooms, nurseries, or even a living space, providing excellent storage without overpowering the room's aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
