The headboard is designed with curved panels in a tiered formation and we've upholstered it in our soft Opulence velvet fabric for a luxe finish. Smart Slats This bed frame is designed with wider slats at the shoulders, lumbar and feet, that provide maximum support for you and your mattress so that you experience perfect spinal alignment while you sleep. Standard slat caps are black so we have added grey slat caps to ensure that you know where to place the wider slats. Want to see it first? I’d reach for this boutique upholstered bed whenever I want a mix of comfort and clean lines. The soft velvet headboard with its stepped profile adds subtle interest without overwhelming a room, and the mid-toned grey works equally well in Scandi, contemporary or art-deco-influenced schemes. To style it, layer textured linens like a chunky knit throw or crisp cotton in muted pastels, then add one or two accent cushions in a contrasting hue (mustard or deep teal work nicely).
