Description

Specially designed for compact spaces, the Arlo range is a modern take on a mid-century design, featuring a buttoned back and striking frame. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. Sits like a sofa, sleeps like a bed This sofa bed has a 2-fold folding mechanism. When assembled as a sofa the seats are supported by flexible webbing which is the same as traditional sofas. Unfold once and it opens into the bed. Pattern placement We have a wide range of fabrics for you to choose from as part of our Design Your Own service. There's a spectrum of colours and textures, as well as a mix of plain and patterned designs. If you choose one of our patterned fabrics just be aware that the image above is there as a guide and may not be representative of the finished item. We've reproduced the product as best we can but the pattern placement may vary. Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa bed for its versatile design and practical features, making it a great focal point for both contemporary and more relaxed interiors. Its neutral grey tone works well with a range of colour schemes, from soft pastels to bold contrasts. The armless style and clean lines give it a fresh look that can be easily dressed up with cushions and throws. Its built-in storage and fold-out bed make it ideal for small spaces or guest rooms where functionality is key. Styling tips include pairing it with a textured rug, minimalist coffee tables, or a statement lamp to create a welcoming, multi-functional living area. Overall, it’s a smart choice for those after a stylish, space-saving solution without compromising comfort.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
