This wide oak veneer bookcase provides stylish and practical storage for any living room, hallway or study. It includes two adjustable shelves and one fixed shelf in the middle, providing ample room to display your books, DVDs and ornaments. Want to see it first? I’m a fan of the Abacus shelf for its clean, slim-line profile and warm oak veneer - it slips easily into both Scandi-inspired and more classic living rooms or home offices. Being FSC-certified also means you can feel good about its environmental credentials.
When styling, think in threes: group books upright with a couple of horizontal stacks, intersperse woven storage baskets on the lowest shelf to hide bits and bobs, and introduce a small plant or simple ceramic on the middle tier for a breath of greenery. Leave a little negative space around each cluster to keep the look fresh and uncluttered.
