Description

Originally designed by Joan Miró to illustrate Tristan Tzara's collection of poems, this collectable 'Parler Seul People' poster has been re-released from their archives. Part of the avant-garde movement, Tristan Tzara's book 'Parler Seul' contains 72 lithographs by Joan Miró and can be credited with bringing the work of artists and poets into close collaboration. Joan Miró is renowned as one of the early pioneers of Surrealism, with a painting style that has nevertheless remained forever fluid and undefined. He was a modern master who broke boundaries of conventional painting styles while asking the crucial question, 'why must art be categorised?'This high-quality collectable lithograph from the archives of Galerie Maeght would make a unique and striking centrepiece for your wall space.

Our Stylist Says

I love this poster because it combines Joan Miró’s playful, abstract style with a bold use of colour, making it a versatile piece for many interiors. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist spaces where it can serve as a focal point, but it’s also great for adding a touch of whimsy to eclectic or bohemian rooms. For styling, consider framing it with a sleek, slim border to keep the focus on the artwork, and hang it at eye level for maximum impact. Pairing it with neutral tones in the surrounding decor will allow the colours to pop, while a touch of contemporary furniture can create a balanced, curated look.
