Description
London designer Jasper Morrison pushes the working drawing to the extreme with this sublime brass bowl. Adorned with an embossed decorative pattern, it is both chic and delicate. These decorations are a reinterpretation of the ancient and refined Etruscan granulation silverware technique, seen from a more industrial perspective. Achieved by means of a cold brass stamping process, the rich interplay with the surrounding light creates a sort of luminous skin, exalting both complex shapes and clean, neutral lines. This bowl can be used to set an attractive table or as a fruit bowl, basket or trinket bowl.
