Description

For a sophisticated modern look in your home, the Jesse pendant light is sure to be a big contender – the fitting has a simple circular design but is decorated with elegant crystal effect rods and chrome accents to add a stylish modern touch to the décor. This fitting looks great above a dining room table, in the living room, or as a statement bedroom feature, with the 3 central lights giving a shimmering shine that offers a classy, relaxed atmosphere to the space.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Jesse Pendant in chrome for its sleek, contemporary appeal. Its polished finish and subtle detailing make it a versatile piece that suits modern and minimalist interiors, and it also adds a touch of sophistication to more eclectic spaces. It works particularly well above dining tables or in an entrance hall, where it can create a clean, bright focal point. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral colour palettes to highlight its shiny finish or with darker accents for contrast. To maximise its impact, hang it at an appropriate height to evenly distribute light without overpowering the room. Overall, it’s a great choice for adding a touch of subtle luxe without overwhelming the overall design.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
