Description

Add a rustic accent to any room with the Jenny Beaded Ceiling Pendant. The beaded style of this ceiling light shade brings a bohemian feel to your home. The wood finish brings a natural look to this vintage ceiling light shade.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chandy for adding a touch of boho charm to a variety of interiors. Its natural beaded finish makes it a versatile piece that works well in relaxed, coastal, or eclectic schemes. It’s particularly effective in spaces with neutral palettes or layered textures, where it can serve as a statement feature without overpowering the room. When styling, consider hanging it at a height that allows the beads to cascade naturally without obstructing sightlines, and pair with other natural materials like wood or rattan for a cohesive look. It's perfect for overhead lighting in living rooms, dining areas or bedrooms that embrace casual elegance and a hint of artisan craftsmanship.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
