Price History

Description

Illuminate your space in luxury with the Jena Glass Pendant in Champagne. Featuring an artisanal design and bell-shaped glass shade, this ceiling pendant boasts a vintage aesthetic which will compliment most existing interiors beautifully. Expect a glorious wash of light to be cast across your room due to the champagne-tinted glass which creates a cosy atmosphere in your home.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Jena glass pendant for its modern yet timeless appeal, especially with its champagne-toned glass that adds a warm, inviting glow. It works beautifully in contemporary spaces like open-plan kitchens, living rooms, or even bedrooms, where a statement piece is desired. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with minimalist or neutral interiors to let the pendant stand out, or create a cohesive look by matching it with other warm metallic accents. Hanging it at different heights can also bring visual interest and help define zones within a space, while its soft, ambient light makes it a versatile choice for both daytime and evening atmospheres.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
