Our Stylist Says
The JD Greta kitchen base unit is a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and transitional interiors. Its clean, glossy white finish combined with the navy matt doors creates a fresh, modern look with a touch of sophistication. I love pairing this unit with minimalistic handles or even goes handleless for a sleek profile. It’s practical too-offering ample storage with shelves and a worktop ideal for food prep or appliance placement. Styling tips include adding colourful accessories or textured fabrics for a pop of personality, or contrasting the navy doors with lighter or wooden tones to soften the bold colour and add warmth to the space. Overall, it’s a stylish, functional foundation that fits seamlessly into a well-considered kitchen scheme.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
