Our Stylist Says
The JD Greta kitchen base is a smart choice for adding understated style and functionality to modern interiors. Its sage green matt finish brings a calm, fresh feel that pairs well with both contemporary and rustic styles, especially when combined with light wood or monochrome accents. The compact 400mm width makes it versatile for smaller kitchens or as part of a mixed cabinetry layout. Practical tips include pairing it with neutral or patterned worktops to create visual interest, and adding minimalistic brass or chrome handles for a finishing touch that elevates the overall look. It’s ideal for creating a sleek, organised kitchen that balances practicality with subtle design appeal.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
