This iconic Jay-Be J-Bed Single Folding Bed brings together the most innovative technologies to create one of the most luxurious folding guest beds imaginable. Specifically made to meet the legal requirements for contract use the Performance e-Fibre mattress is a practical and reliable solution for Guest Houses, Hotels and other contract environments. Created without compromise, the J-Bed is made using the finest materials. The anodised aluminium frame is lightweight and sits on premium 360 castors which allow the bed to be easily manoeuvred. Precision injection moulded components compliment the J-Beds stylish appearance and our exclusive J-Lok folding mechanism enables effortless opening and closing of the bed, one side at a time. The oak effect headboard secures your pillow with a foot end to help keep the mattress in place. Resting on a sprung slatted base, the Performance e-Fibre mattress has a high performance fabric cover, which offers a higher fire resistance and extra durability whilst unlike foam, the unique open cell structure of the e-Fibre fillings enables the mattress to breathe, ensuring that it stays fresh when in storage.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
