Description
The Supima® Cotton is made using the top one per cent of the finest cottons in the world. The Supima fibre’s extra length creates beautifully soft and long-lasting fabrics with a timelessly elegant and supple drape. Supima’s growers are global leaders in environmental and ethical standards for cotton production and every manufacturer is scrupulously vetted before becoming an approved licensee. This unique 500 Thread Count satin weave uses a process of four over, one under to maximise the number of threads visible on the upper side of the fabric. The result is a medium-weight fabric with rich satin softness. The duvet covers, pillowcases and flat sheets are classically finished with a traditional picot stitch for a delicate, understated elegance. The range is available as standard pillowcases, duvet covers, flat sheets, and our True Grip ® extra-deep fitted sheets suitable for mattresses up to 40cm deep. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
