I’d describe this simply as the light-green velvet sleigh bed - its deep button-tufting and soft upholstery make it a strong focal point without being overly formal. I love it for adding a touch of luxury to schemes that otherwise rely on clean lines, such as Scandi-inspired spaces or muted contemporary bedrooms. For styling, pair it with crisp white or pale grey linens and introduce a couple of jewel-toned cushions to echo the velvet finish. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
