Description

Reliable outdoor lighting that looks incredibly stylish, the Jared Outdoor Wall Light with PIR sensor is ideal for modern households. This light has a durable anthracite finish, adding an urban style to the outside of your home. It also features an up and down light design which projects a beautiful spread of illumination across walls of your house.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this wall light for its sleek anthracite finish, which offers a contemporary and versatile look that works well with various exteriors. It’s perfect for adding practical, unobtrusive illumination to garden walls, doorways, or patio areas, especially thanks to the PIR sensor that adds smart functionality without cluttering the design. Stylistically, it complements modern, minimalist, or industrial outdoor spaces, but can also blend into more traditional settings with the right landscaping. When styling, consider pairing it with other muted metal fixtures or greenery for a cohesive look, and place it at eye level near entrances or pathways to optimise its practical lighting and security benefits.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
