Description

Create a sleek and modern appearance for the outside of your home with the Jared 2 Light Outdoor Up and Down Wall Light. This wall lamp has a stylish stainless steel finish and is IP44 rated, meaning that it is both water resistant and durable enough to withstand most outdoor weather conditions. It also has an innovative photocell feature, meaning that it adjusts the brightness of the light accordingly to the natural outdoor light levels.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this wall light’s sleek stainless steel finish, which makes it a versatile choice for many outdoor settings. Its modern, minimal shape fits well with contemporary exteriors, but it can also complement more traditional facades with its understated style. I’d recommend pairing it with neutral or textured walls-such as brick or stone-for a stylish contrast. Practical styling tips include installing it at a height that provides effective illumination for pathways or entrances, while the photocell feature ensures energy efficiency by turning on automatically at dusk. This light works well in both garden courtyards and outdoor patio areas, providing functional lighting without sacrificing aesthetics.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
