Description

This Jared 2 light wall light is extremely practical due to its up and down light effect. Wall lights with an IP44 rating are great for outdoors, and the up and down feature results in lots of light being expressed, meaning you are getting two lights for the price of one. The white finish keeps the light simple and quaint, while still looking classy and modern. This piece is also great for practical outdoor purposes.

Our Stylist Says

The Jared outdoor wall light is a sleek, modern piece that works well in contemporary and minimalist exteriors. Its crisp white finish makes it versatile enough to complement neutral facades or to add a subtle touch of sophistication to garden walls and patio areas. I love how its up-and-down design provides balanced illumination, creating both functional lighting and visual interest. For styling, consider placing a few along a pathway or flanking a front door to highlight architectural features without overwhelming the space. Practical tips include pairing it with warm-toned bulbs for cosy evenings or cooler hues for a modern, crisp look. It's a great choice for adding subtle yet stylish outdoor lighting that enhances your home's curb appeal.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
