Description

Gorgeously illuminate your garden arrangements in style with the Jared Outdoor Spike Light. This garden spike is finished in stainless steel for a stunning contemporary appearance that inspires a modern look in your outdoor spaces. To light up your outdoor seating arrangements, this light can also be fixed to decking for when you want to relax outside in the evenings and enjoy the weather.

Our Stylist Says

I love this outdoor spike light because of its sleek stainless steel finish, which complements contemporary and industrial exteriors alike. It provides flexible spot lighting, perfect for highlighting garden features, pathways, or architectural details. I recommend placing it along garden borders or steps to create added safety and visual interest in the evenings. Its minimalist design ensures it won’t overwhelm a space, making it versatile for modern, minimalist, or even traditional outdoor settings. For styling, pair it with other understated outdoor fixtures and consider dimming options if available, to create a layered lighting effect that emphasises depth and texture while maintaining a practical and polished look.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
