Description

Jared Outdoor Porch Ceiling Light, Copper

Our Stylist Says

I love this outdoor porch light because of its sleek, minimal design and warm copper finish, which adds a touch of contemporary elegance to any exterior space. It works especially well in rustic, industrial, or modern settings-think cabin exteriors, patio areas, or garden terraces. For styling tips, place it in groups or pair with other copper accents to create a cohesive look, or keep it as a stand-out feature on a pergola or porch wall. Practical advice would be to ensure it’s installed at an appropriate height for easy illumination and to protect the copper surface from harsh weather, which will develop a lovely patina over time, adding character to your outdoor decor.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
