Jane designed this bed linen set with magic and mystery in mind, combining sea creatures like seahorses and turtles with more whimsical motifs such as butterflies, roses, starbursts and swallows to create a cacophony of feel-good playfulness. The set also sports an anchor ‘tattoo’ (‘Love Forever’) and fun typography slogans (‘Love Is The Drug’ and ‘Living The Dream’) to remind us all of what’s important! ‘This is bed linen for the young at heart,’ says Jane. ‘I wanted the design to pique interest and fire the imagination – imagine the stories (and dreams!) you can create around this quirky mix of characters. The piping finishes it beautifully and gives this a polished feel that marries perfectly with the cotton sateen, too. Back in 2007, on a not-so-sunny Lanzarote vacation, Lucy and Jane had a bright idea by the pool. Both loved old markets and changing up their homes, so they thought, "Why not create an online store for unique home items?"
With Jane's skills in PR and photos and Lucy knowing all about selling, they started Rockett St George. They purchased a 'Website for Dummies' book, pooled their savings, and voilà - Rockett St George was launched!
