The Jacob bed frame features a tall headboard in a horizontal flute style with winged sides and an upholstered surround, and a low footboard. The linear design is minimal yet effective. The bed benefits from a solid slatted base ideal for mattress ventilation and is very sturdy. The wings protrude by 7 inches on either side, giving it that luxurious winged look. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
